AlterECO’s Regen Kitchen Personalized Design Services Package (PDSP) is a cost-effective, stress-reducing approach to professional, environmentally-responsible, healthy kitchen design that is tailored to your life. Our services include: in-depth consultation, detailed drawings, a clear cabinetry estimate, and specifications – providing a beautiful, highly functional design that truly fits your lifestyle and your budget.

Contents – The PDSP includes the following:

• Preparation: We begin with a thorough review of your project. Whether you have no drawings at all, a simple sketch or detailed architectural drawings, AlterECO’s design process will be shaped to your needs.
• Consultation: We will communicate via email, phone, and/or zoom to clarify details of the project and to discuss exciting possibilities (relax & enjoy!)
• Collaboration: We will work closely with you, and we are happy to collaborate with others on your design team (if you have one) – architect / interior designer / contractor / cabinetmaker. Note that such collaborations may add time and design cost.
• Design Drawings + Specs: We will create design drawings (plan, elevation & perspective views) that clearly indicate the desired features. We will also provide design specifications documentation.
• Estimate: Our detailed price estimate is a valuable tool for budget-setting and cost comparison.
• Beyond Cabinets: While cabinetry forms the heart of the kitchen and is thus the focus of our process, the PDSP also includes guidance in selecting and sourcing hardware/accessories, countertops, backsplash, appliances, sinks, flooring, lighting and more – that are aligned with our (and your) eco-friendly values. How far “beyond cabinets” we go depends on the scope and complexity of the project, but the vast majority of projects get fully designed without any additional fee (see “Basis” below).

• Basis: The PDSP services are based on a “typical” 10×10 kitchen layout. Larger &/or more complex projects may require an increased design fee. We will strive to accurately assess this at the outset, and we will also alert you if changes to the job are leading to a higher design cost than anticipated (added cost is rare but possible). Regardless of project size or complexity, the PDSP assures the most cost-effective approach. 

  Timeline: We determine the estimated timeline for your project in our initial meeting, and we prioritize projects that are initiated by the payment link below (as they are most efficiently processed into our design queue).  We highly recommend not rushing the design process, as this is where many cost-saving and dream-preserving decisions take place! Taking the time for a mindful, expertly-guided design process can be critical to long-term satisfaction and value of investment. Note that 12 to 16 weeks is a typical timeframe for the production of custom cabinets for a complete kitchen. Note too that experience has shown us that the remodel timeline provided by contractors is commonly underestimated. So, the sooner the design process begins, the better.
  

  Not ready? If you simply need a general sense of affordability, please send us any drawings (even basic sketches) of your currently envisioned kitchen &/or bath cabinet layout and submit a completed Project Information Sheet from our website to qualify for a free 30 minute initial design strategy meeting and a ballpark estimate range. Design consulting services are also available on an hourly basis, starting at $125. We do recommend the PDSP, as the comprehensive approach will help assure a cost-effective process, a complete design and a satisfying journey to get there!

Why get AlterECO design, if AlterECO cabinets are not available in my area? Good question! While we deliver only to the San Francisco Bay Area, chances are there is a cabinet shop near you that would be well qualified to build custom cabinetry to our specifications. And we can help make that happen. Perhaps more importantly, our expertise and experience with eco-friendly design will help assure you get fine quality cabinetry with the modern or transitional aesthetic you want – while being kind to your health, friendly to the environment, and conscious of your budget.
